I am Amanda Johnson, founder of the VA Training Academy at VACT. I am a military veteran and a mum of two boys, and both of those things shape how I train.
The military taught me that you do not send people out unprepared and hope for the best. You train them properly, to a standard, because the standard is what protects them when things get difficult. I bring the same belief to VA training. My job is not to make you feel good about a purchase. My job is to make sure that when you launch, you are actually ready.
Clients describe me as no-nonsense, straight talking and caring in the same breath, and I will take that. I am not pink and fluffy despite the brand colours. I am honest, direct and completely in your corner. I believe in servant leadership: my success is measured by yours, long after the training ends.
I am proud to say I have been voted best VA Training Provider in the UK on multiple occasions, awarded silver in the Armed Forces Covenant, an Advisory Board Member for the Society of Virtual Assistants, PA Show and OIVAC.
